Texas DWI Penalties
The penalties for being convicted for a charge of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in Texas can be very severe, and can include large fines and court costs, possible incarceration (time spent in jail), loss of driving privileges, and/or performing community service hours. If the driver holds a Commercial Drivers License (CDL), the penalties and punishments are even more severe. In fact, a conviction for DWI could feasibly mean the end of their career for many years (if not for the rest of their life).
If you have been charged and arrested for a DWI charge, you need an experienced lawyer to help guide you through the process. The Law Offices of Carl David Ceder has dealt with virtually every type of intoxication-related criminal offenses, including and especially all charges related to Driving While Intoxicated. Our goal will always be to do our best to have you found "Not Guilty" at trial, or to obtain a dismissal or a reduction to the charge. In other cases, we will do our best to minimize at all cost many of the potentially and harmful effects a DWI conviction can bring, including mitigating all factors that should be considered.
